Here's an idea of what you can expect before, during and after your wedding session...
Before your wedding
If you're considering Natalie Sinisgalli Photography for your wedding day- thank you! While you're here, please take a look at our image gallery to get an idea of past weddings we've photographed, as well as our pricing. While this will give you a great idea of what we're about, we'd really love to meet with you and your fiánce in person. At this initial consultation we'll talk about all the fun wedding details you've planned so far, as well as what you have in mind for your wedding photos. We'll also show you some more samples of our work and the products we offer. This is a fun "get-to-know-you" meeting, where you can ask us anything on your mind.
If you decide to book with us (and we hope you do), we'll send you a contract to sign with all of the details of our services spelled out. Once we receive the signed contract along with your $1000 deposit, you are officially booked! In general, brides book their photographers about one year to eight months prior to their wedding, but don't be intimidated if your wedding is coming up sooner than that. Just ask us if we're free for your date!
If your package includes an engagement session, or you decide to add one on, we'll talk about a good time to schedule it. The timing of your session will of course depend on the length of your engagement, whether you would like the photos to use for Save the Dates and of course- because we DO live in Rochester, NY- the weather. Most of our engagement sessions include outdoor photos. We'll shoot in any season, but you may have a preference.
After we've completed your engagement session, you don't have to worry about much else! Concentrate on all the other aspects of wedding planning (which we are also happy to make suggestions on, as we have seen a lot of weddings! Check our Preferred Vendors tab...). We'll contact you about a month before the wedding and set up a time to meet. At this meeting, we'll go over everything- details like your wedding day schedule and important shots to get. Come to this meeting with a good idea of what is important to you- we'll actually make a list (with names) of all the combinations of people you would like photographed. You may want to even check with your parents before coming to the meeting to see if they have any photos in mind that they would like taken. You will also need to submit the remaining balance of your package to us 14 days before the wedding.
Your Wedding
Let us know when you will be rehearsing your wedding- we like to stop by during the rehearsal to get a feel for the ceremony and location. We also like to meet all of the people that are important to you at the rehersal so that we're not introducing ourselves on the big day!
On the day of your wedding, relax! This is the fun part. By the time this day rolls around, we will have discussed your photography expectations and we'll be completely prepared. Each wedding is unique but no matter your situation or package, you can expect beautiful photos that capture every detail of your day.
After Your Wedding
This is what you've been waiting for! After your wedding, when things have settled down a bit (usually about 3-4 weeks afterward), we'll get together with you to show you a slideshow of the photos from your wedding day. At that time, we'll also make an online gallery available so that you can share the photos with family and friends.
Weddings are a cornerstone of our business- and we absolutely love them! We think you'll find that our love and enthusiasm for weddings really shows through in our work.
